#13 Poem: Death

To lay lifeless
On well arranged woods
Stepping towards oblivion
Leaving all sighs and goods

Is it the true death?
Of Almighty’s creation?
From the records of living men
One’s name’s deletion?

Or death is something much
More deeper than this?
Ain’t it the crying of soul?
Or dying hope’s last kiss?

Ain’t that person dead
Who is left all alone?
In this crowded world
In loneliness who has drown?

Hadn’t that person died
Who lacks moments of joy?
Whose life’s joyful pages
Are burnt before he could compile?

Death is not just the end
Instead a decaying journey
In which all dreams,
Wishes and emotions flee!!!

Death never hurts. Its only our broken dreams, unfulfilled wishes, lost relations and loneliness which hurts the most!!

I am just an ordinary girl who writes not just to share what she's feeling, but also to treasure every bit of her life on the paper. Writing makes me explore my thoughts, my feelings, myself.

  1. Death is a sensitive topic, One can only assume the experience of being there.
we lay on the bed to rest into the darkness for a new morrow, And on the death bed we lay into the darkness for a long time to buy in a new life into morrow. we die everyday, so do we live.
anyways apart from my babbling!! Great write my dear sis… Someone is thinking deep this days.
    well done!! 🙂
