  1. There is a popular book about the evolution of punctuation in English. It includes a chapter devoted to the humble comma. The book is very entertaining and informative. Well worth reading, either from a library or even to buy as a resource for writing. The cover on mine has an image of a panda bear on the front cover. The title is Eats Shoots and Leaves. There would be a very different sketch on this cover if you take the author’s ideas about commas and add commas to this title: Eats, shoots and leaves. Best regards Amulya.

  2. Very nice. A comma means the sentence has not ended. Life continues after a setback.
