#19 Poem: She struggles

When the night shades
The lonely roads
She sits silent
With destiny’s loads

She fears, she scares
She weeps with no voice
With loneliness as mate
She lives with no choice

No hand to hold
No shoulder to lean
She breathes alone
In her thirteen

Her family died
And so her smiles
Memories of lost
Childhood she compiles

She works she starves
She fights for life
Everyday she dies
Living pain and strife

She is molested
Is physically tortured
By so called men
And their inner dirt

When the night shades
Her faded presence
She struggles for life
Struggles for existence!!

Hope a time comes… when poverty and helplessness dies.

I am just an ordinary girl who writes not just to share what she's feeling, but also to treasure every bit of her life on the paper. Writing makes me explore my thoughts, my feelings, myself.

  1. Touching, but the fact is that most of us just sympathize for them or just provide them 1-2 bucks and think that it will be enough for them. But actually what they need is someone who can understand their pain, the world which don’t look at them with the eyes of sympathy or hate but with the eyes of respect.
