#7 Poem: A Letter To Son

image

Tommorow my son
I will not be there
To give you love
To show my care

I have to leave
Where gods reside
This is my destiny
Which I have to abide

But you don’t worry
I’ll  be with you
Like a sweet fragrance
Around you like brew

These are my last words
For you to read
What I’m writing
And trying to feed

Never loose hope
Never let it die
As it is the wind
Which makes one fly

Be a wise man
Respect and care
Learn to forgive
Learn to share

Love your family
Love your friends
And own a heart
Other’s cut which mends

Live your life
Being true and strong
Be a fighter
Who stands against wrong

I wish I could see
You growing, my son
But I have to leave
I have to run

No more kisses
From me for you
As I’ll be gone
And this is true!!

Most painful time for a person is when he knows he is dying.. but still…he can’t resist it..

Beautiful lines. A father trying to teach his son all that he knows, in the last letter. I had written a similar sort of thing. You can check it out if you want to. It’s titled bitter sweet.
    Keep up the good work!
    Regards, Devika 🙂
